Job Description: Robotics Technician | Fremont, MI Salary Range: $54,000 - $86,000 depending on experience Are you a skilled professional with a passion for programming, maintaining, and troubleshooting robotic systems? We are collaborating with companies in Fremont seeking experienced Robotics Technicians. If there is alignment now or in the near future, we reach out. The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Fremont seeking Robotics Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of robotic systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and software issues in industrial robots.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and develop maintenance schedules.
  • Install, program, and test new robotic equipment and peripheral devices.
  • Collaborate with engineers to optimize robot performance and integrate new applications.
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system configurations.
  • Train production staff on basic robot operation and safety procedures.
Recommended Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • 2+ years of experience with industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics.
  • Strong understanding of PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) for troubleshooting and minor modifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform preventative maintenance and repair on robotic systems.
Bonus Qualifications
  • Experience with vision systems and their integration into robotic cells.
  • Familiarity with various fieldbus protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, DeviceNet).
