ABOUT THE POSITION
Position Title: Service and Sales Representative - Cicero, NY Offering $750 Sign-On Bonus
Position Overview: As a Service and Sales Representative (SSR), you deliver exceptional service to our members as the primary contact for members regarding the status of their account and any escalation. Assist members in setting up new business, consumer, and IRA accounts. Resolve account related concerns, provide general credit union information, intake and process loan applications including residential mortgage lending. Rotates to perform branch duties to include Member Service Representative activities. Assist Sr Branch Member Account Specialist and Member Service Representative staff with member approvals, questions, or concerns. Act on notary and Signature Guarantee requests.
Position Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week). Regular shifts include Monday to Friday 8:30AM - 5:30PM with rotating Saturday shifts 8:30AM - 12:30PM.
Compensation Range: $23.00/hr. - $25.00/hr *Hiring rates may be dependent on a number of factors, including years of directly related work experience, education, geographic location or special skills*
Location: Position is on-site at our Cicero Branch located at 5788 East Circle Drive, Cicero, NY
What you'll do in this role:
  • Build relationships and serve as the first point of contact for members
  • Open and manage consumer, business, and IRA accounts
  • Support loan application intake (including mortgages)
  • Resolve account questions and escalations
  • Recommend products aligned to member needs
  • Support branch operations (teller/MSR coverage, transactions, etc.)
  • Provide notary and signature guarantee services (training provided)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Minimum qualifications:
  • Associate degree required with 1-3 years of experience; 3-5 years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Obtain notary license within 1 year of acceptance of role.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Proficient with standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, PCs, etc.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years' experience in customer service, retail, banking or financial services industry.
