Open Roles & Fleet Vehicles

We are currently hiring operators for three distinct vehicle classes. Please specify your experience when applying:

1. Chipper Truck Operator (Class B CDL or Non-CDL)

 The Rig: Medium-duty dump trucks integrated with commercial wood chippers.

 The Job: Driving crews to job sites, positioning the truck safely in residential or commercial areas, and operating/assisting with the wood chipper.

2. Dump Truck Driver (Class B or Class A CDL)

 The Rig: Heavy-duty dump trucks used for hauling logs, woodchips, and bulk debris.

 The Job: Transporting heavy loads from job sites to dump facilities or recycling yards. Requires excellent backing skills and knowledge of weight distribution/load tarping.

3. Bucket Truck Operator (Class B CDL preferred)

 The Rig: Aerial lift trucks ranging from 50ft to 75ft+ working height.

 The Job: Safely driving and stabilizing the aerial lift vehicle on various terrains using outriggers. (Optional but a major plus: Willingness to operate the bucket for tree trimming).

Key Responsibilities

 Safe Operations: Safely navigate residential neighborhoods, tight streets, and commercial properties.

 Pre/Post-Trip Inspections: Complete daily DOT vehicle inspection reports (DVIR). Check fluids, brakes, tires, and hydraulic systems.

 Ground Support: When not actively driving, assist the tree crew with ground operations (staging cones, securing job sites, assisting with debris cleanup).

 Crew Communication: Work closely with the Crew Leader and Aerial Trimmers to ensure the truck is positioned optimally for safety and production.

Qualifications & Requirements

 License: Valid Driver's License required. Class A or B CDL strongly preferred (and commands higher starting pay), but we have select roles available for clean Non-CDL drivers.

 Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of commercial driving experience, preferably in tree care, construction, landscaping, or waste management.

 Driving Record: Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) with no major violations in the last 3 years.

 Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and pass a DOT medical card exam/drug screen.

 Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and possesses a safety-first mindset.
