Summary:
The Program Manager - Instructional Design is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of curricular and instructional design programming in the Department of Medical Education within the Office of Curriculum and Instructional Design. This role works collaboratively across teams to ensure timely execution of projects and alignment with educational goals. This is a part time, 20 hour/week position with hybrid capability.
Areas of Responsibility:
  • Assist with the design, development, and delivery of curriculum and instructional materials across Department of Medical Education programs
  • Develop engaging e-learning content using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise
  • Create and edit multimedia assets, including graphics, videos, and audio, to support instructional content
  • Support course delivery within the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS), including course setup, user management, and backend administration
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to translate content into effective instructional experiences
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and accessibility across all educational materials
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and updates to existing courses and learning assets
  • Support evaluation and continuous improvement of instructional programs

Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline and Rise or similar)
  • Experience with video editing software (Camtasia or similar)
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (Canvas or similar), including administrative functions
  • Experience with audio editing tools (Audacity or similar)
  • Proficiency in graphic design platforms (Canva or similar)
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in healthcare or relevant field required. Master's Degree preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Licensure may be preferred or required based on setting.
  3. Experience: Three years of related healthcare work experience required.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Able to lead work teams. Effective communication skills.
