Overview:
Sr Accountant
Prepare, analyze, research, and adjust financial statements for management presentation. Creates relevant work papers, schedules, and reconciliations. Review and comprehend financial indicators and results of operations, significant operational statistics, variances from budget and historical results. Research technical accounting and financial reporting issues, and assist with ad hoc financial analysis and projects. This position assists in preparation and coordination of year-end audits.
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required. Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration will be considered in lieu of required experience. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) strongly preferred
Education
  • Bachelor Level Degree (Required with concentration in Finance or Accounting)
  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration will be considered in lieu of required experience

Certification/Licensure
  • CPA preferred, but not a requirement

Experience
  • 1 year Accounting or Finance experience required
  • Previous experience with Gifts and Grants preferred
