Job description

  • Manage a team of consultants leading engagements in our Workday Financials, HCM , INTEGRATION Practice and recommend best practices related to Workday functionality.
  • Manage support requests related to Workday Financials,HCM , INTEGRATIONwhich requires a great deal of workstream management and cross-functional team collaboration
  • Subject matter expert developing system configuration solutions, composite reports and calculated fields; demonstrate the configurations through the development of prototype systems, and assist the client in testing the Workday solution
  • Modify and redevelop/engineer business processes based on unique client requirements and best practices across the Workday platform.
  • Support client-side implementations including assembling data gathering workbooks as well as system testing and UAT
  • Work with clients to help convert legacy data into Workday
  • Assist the integrations team in helping to configure and test integrations between Workday and other third party/custom solutions
  • Establish effective working relationships with clients and outside vendors
  • Identify client enhancement opportunities for existing and new features introduced across new Workday releases
  • Perform peer reviews, manage, train and mentor junior staff
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of functional experience with Workday Financial Management with demonstrated success of hands-on experience with delivering Workday solutions in this area.
  • 6+ years of experience as an Implementation Manager, or Systems Architect with Workday, a Workday Partner or Workday Client
  • 4+ years of experience doing project management that includes managing 3+ people
  • Deep functional knowledge around financial systems and processes with advanced report writing skills; and experience building dashboards, custom validations, condition rules and calculated fields
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
  • Adaptive insights solutions experience is a plus
  • Current or previous Workday Certification highly desired including Workday PRO
  • Ability to support effectively multiple customers concurrently on short duration projects
  • Degree or an advanced degree in Finance/Accounting preferred or equivalent experience
