What is an assistant Reiki?

Assistant Reiki practitioners are individuals who support certified Reiki masters or practitioners in providing Reiki healing sessions. They may help prepare the space, assist with client intake, and perform basic Reiki techniques under supervision. Their role is often to facilitate a smooth session and learn practical skills while gaining experience. Typically, Assistant Reiki practitioners are in training or have completed initial Reiki attunements and are working towards full certification.

What are the typical daily responsibilities of an assistant Reiki practitioner in a wellness center?

As an Assistant Reiki practitioner in a wellness center, your daily responsibilities often include preparing treatment rooms, assisting lead Reiki practitioners during sessions, and helping clients feel comfortable before and after treatments. You may also manage scheduling, maintain client records, and ensure a calming atmosphere throughout the space. Collaboration with other wellness professionals, such as massage therapists and yoga instructors, is common to deliver a holistic client experience.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an assistant Reiki practitioner, and why are they important?
