Job Description

As a Security Officer Visitor Registration in Denver, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as distribution centers, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a distribution center, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, and supporting visitors, associates, and vendors. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to shoppers, store personnel, delivery drivers, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor and control access points for the retail location, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor, vendor, and delivery records as required by site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of designated entrances, exits, receiving areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and security-related concerns.
  • Assist with security-related reporting, access credentials, keys, and documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
