Position Title DEPARTMENT: FOX DEN PAY GRADE: S1-S2 SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Works under the direct supervision of the General Manager. SUPERVISION EXERCISED: NONE POSITION CLASSIFICATIONS: The position of Golf Course worker in the City of Stow is unclassified by the Stow Civil Service Commission, is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not included in a collective bargaining agreement PURPOSE: Supports the daily operations and maintenance of the golf course and clubhouse during the active season. These positions assist with course upkeep, guest services, and general facility operations to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for golfers and visitors.

Essential Functions 1. Starter / Ranger Focus: Maintain a smooth flow of play and a positive atmosphere. Key Tasks: Ensure groups start exactly on time, manage the pace of play, and provide a personable greeting to every guest.

Requirements: Strong understanding of golf etiquette/rules and the ability to professionally handle disruptive customers. 2. Driving Range / Cart Washing Focus: Maintain our fleet and practice facilities.

Key Tasks: Clean, stage, and park power carts; operate the range picker and wash/restock golf balls. Requirements: Must be dependable and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. 3.

Concessions / F&B / Beverage Cart Focus: Hospitality and refreshment services. Key Tasks: Take orders and process payments at the register, prepare snack bar items, and provide on-course beverage service. Requirements: Excellent customer service skills; must meet age requirements for alcohol service (19+).

Qualifications Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to lift and move equipment and materials up to 50 pounds. Strong customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays during the golf season.
