The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of network performance, KPIs, and Configuration Management (CM), Performance Management (PM), and Fault Management (FM) data from OSS platforms.

This role will provide technical guidance to data scientists and software development teams in interpreting telecom data and defining requirements for new AI and agentic solutions. The position requires strong analytical and telecom domain expertise to support the development of network performance and optimization solutions.

Software development experience is not required, but a solid understanding of telecom concepts, OSS platforms, network performance, and data analysis is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Configuration Management (CM), Performance Management (PM), and Fault Management (FM) OSS data structures, preferably with experience working with Nokia and Ericsson platforms.
  • Analyze RAN performance data to identify trends, anomalies, performance gaps, and network optimization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations for improving network efficiency and performance.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs to communicate network performance findings to stakeholders.
  • Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for network-related performance issues.
  • Collaborate with software developers and data scientists to develop new performance reports, data analytics solutions, and AI/ML use cases.
  • Provide telecom domain guidance for AI/ML and agentic use cases related to telecom operations and network optimization.
  • Validate network KPIs and ensure end-to-end solution alignment across deployments.
  • Lead network optimization initiatives across enterprise and large-scale carrier deployments.
  • Mentor junior team members on OSS best practices, RAN technologies, and telecom domain concepts.

Required Qualifications

  • 7 10 years of experience in the telecom/network domain.
  • Strong understanding of RAN technologies, including 2G/3G/4G/5G concepts, network architecture, and KPIs.
  • Ability to work closely with software developers and data scientists to provide telecom domain guidance for performance reports, data analytics, and AI use cases.
  • Strong telecom technology expertise; software development skills are optional.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and interpretation of network performance metrics.
  • Hands-on experience with telecom tools and network performance monitoring systems.
  • Proven experience with network optimization and KPI validation.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as effectively within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI/ML applications in telecom.
  • Familiarity with data analytics platforms and tools.
  • Proven experience supporting major global operators such as Airtel, AT&T, T-Mobile, Dish, Jio, or similar organizations.
  • Experience with enterprise and large-scale operator deployments.
  • Working knowledge of telecom-specific data structures and APIs.

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

  • Deep knowledge of OSS platforms, preferably Nokia and Ericsson.
  • Strong understanding of RAN network performance and optimization methodologies.
  • Performance troubleshooting and KPI analysis.
  • Configuration Management and Fault Management expertise.
  • Strong understanding of CM/PM/FM data structures.
  • End-to-end network domain knowledge.
  • Understanding of telecom data analytics and performance monitoring.

Soft Skills

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration.
  • Technical mentoring and knowledge transfer.
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
