Boston Ski & Tennis in Newton, MA is seeking a part-time Tennis Sales Associate for the upcoming season. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about tennis and enjoys helping others improve their game through expert guidance and outstanding customer service.
As a Tennis Sales Associate, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional in-store experience by assisting customers with equipment selection, product knowledge, and tennis services. From racquets and stringing recommendations to apparel and footwear, you will help customers find the right solutions to elevate their performance on the court.

Key Responsibilities:
Greet and engage customers to deliver a positive and personalized shopping experience
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tennis products, trends, and technologies
Assist customers with racquet selection, stringing recommendations, apparel, and footwear
Operate point-of-sale systems and handle transactions accurately
Identify opportunities to exceed customer expectations through proactive problem-solving
Learn and apply effective sales techniques
Merchandise soft goods and maintain store cleanliness and visual standards
Learn racquet stringing and re-gripping (training provided)
Restock merchandise and monitor inventory levels
Follow safety procedures when using tools and equipment
Qualifications:
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to string tennis racquets or willingness to learn
Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset and eagerness to develop new skills
Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
Passion for creating a welcoming and engaging customer experience
General knowledge of and interest in the tennis industry preferred
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
