Summary: Provides technical, quality control and administrative support to Superintendents, Project Engineers and Project Managers on job sites. This is a temporary, full time position located at our jobsite near Plant Bowen, GA. Essential Functions: Sample Collection & Testing Collect grout samples from batch plants, mixing stations, and field placement operations in accordance with project specifications and approved procedures. Prepare and cast grout test specimens for laboratory and field testing. Perform and document field tests cubes, density, temperature, and other required quality characteristics. Ensure samples are collected at required frequencies and represent actual production conditions. Documentation & Reporting Accurately label, track, and maintain identification of all grout samples and test specimens. Complete sampling logs, test reports, and other quality documentation. Enter sampling and testing data into project databases and reporting systems. Maintain organized records to support quality audits, inspections, and project compliance requirements. Quality Assurance Support Verify grout mix information and batch records against approved project requirements. Monitor grout production and placement activities for compliance with quality standards. Identify, document, and communicate non-conforming materials or processes to supervisors and project management. Assist Quality Control and Quality Assurance personnel with inspections, investigations, and corrective actions. Equipment & Material Management Maintain, clean, and inspect sampling and testing equipment. Ensure all sampling tools, molds, containers, and testing materials are available and in proper working condition. Coordinate transportation and storage of samples to preserve sample integrity. Safety & Compliance Adhere to all company, customer, and site-specific safety requirements. Utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe work practices at all times. Maintain compliance with environmental, quality, and regulatory standards applicable to grout sampling and testing. Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and continuous improvement initiatives. General Responsibilities Work closely with project engineers, field supervisors, construction personnel, and laboratory staff to support project objectives. Assist with additional quality control and field inspection activities as assigned. Support project startup, commissioning, and closeout activities related to grout quality verification. Perform other duties as required to support project execution and quality assurance objectives. Physical Requirements: Lift, carry, pull and push at least 40 pounds Travel per the company travel policy, including overnight and away from home.
