Our customers benefit from much better utilization of their warehouses (up to 70% more pallet storage than traditional rack!), maximized vertical space, improved accuracy in pallet selection, and minimized labor costs and product damage.

Over the span of more than 40 years, we've grown into a company with 10 manufacturing facilities, 19 commercial offices, and the know-how of around 2000 employees serving customers in 40 countries.

Job Description

The Quality Specialist is responsible for improving awareness of Quality, Environment, and Safety (QSE) among all employees across the different production departments. The role supports the development of the Q&E system and ensures compliance with agreements, standards, and procedures at all levels and workstations.

Key Deliverables:

Motivate and ensure that all employees work safely and in accordance with stow QSHE standards. Ensure that all work is carried out in a safe, efficient, and quality-focused manner. Promote a Lean mindset and continuous improvement. Ensure that all activities and processes comply with QSHE standards, policies, work instructions, and local legislation.

Daily:

Quality control at each workstation (hanging/unhanging) per team and record it

Check the baths (degreasing/rinsing/KOH/titration) and make corrections if needed

Check S&M packages - "Quality Control."

Water half-test: smooth lines (adhesion)

. Mill parts for tensile testing (mother coil or slit coil)

Check waste carts (properly sorted)

Production control of NSTs (validation)

Report (send to colleague and the Quality Department Manager)

Weekly:

Check wastewater discharge

Clean the wastewater venturi

Inventory of the Q-zone compared with SAP

Calibrate smooth line measuring benches

Check weekend production

Verify the quality of finished products: warehouse and outside storage

"Scrap & rework" meeting

From each smooth line, place 1 sample in the salt spray test

Monthly:

Calibrate coating inspection devices ("Elco")

Check powder expiration dates

Record an oven temperature curve: each line

Over one week, check 2 trailers per team for correct loading

Check intermediate materials such as powders, coils, etc.

Perform powder analyses (gloss / crosscut / MEK)

Check supplier reference plates

Production Control:

Carry out in-depth internal audits according to a fixed audit plan

Perform internal audits of workstations

Negotiate and coordinate with the relevant departments and managers

Follow up on corrective actions

Monitoring controls in case of non-conformities

Perform load tests

Draft an internal complaint in case of non-conformities / NCRs

In case of non-conformities, pass on the necessary information to the Quality Administrator

Prepare an inventory of measuring tools calibration

Assist with calibrations carried out by external companies: o Collect measuring devices. o Evaluate and communicate results. o Follow up on actions. Assistance with medical examinations

Safety:

Follow general safety instructions

Wearing and using PPE is mandatory (work clothing, high-visibility vest and/or jacket, safety shoes, safety knife)

Report hazardous situations

Maintain work area order and cleanliness

Keep the quality office and the Q-Zone tidy and clean

Dispose of waste in the appropriate waste containers

Qualifications

 Qualifications

  • 5+ years of quality control or manufacturing inspection experience required with welding/metal fabrication knowledge preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Ability to read and interpret measurements using calipers, micrometers, height gauges and related quality instruments
  • Knowledge of quality control processes and inspection methods
  • Strong independent decision-making skills with the ability to halt or stop production lines immediately when parts fail to meet quality standards
  • Basic understanding of chemical processes and coatings (preferred)
  • Analytical and reporting skills with basic data entry skills for logging quality metrics
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Physical Work Conditions the Quality Specialist is required to work in an industrial manufacturing environment for the duration of their shift. This role involves prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and reaching. The employee must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. The position requires working in a loud environment where hearing protection may be necessary. The Quality Technician will also be exposed to varying temperatures, including heat and cold, as the facility is not climate controlled. Environmental conditions may fluctuate based on weather, machinery operation, and production demands. The employee must be able to safely navigate the production floor, work near moving equipment, and maintain focus and accuracy while performing quality inspections and coaching activities under these conditions.
