Job description

Job Title: Quality Technician/Inspector
Location: The Villages
Shift: 3:30PM to 1:00AM | Monday to Friday
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Overtime: Occasional, including Saturdays, based on production needs

Job Summary:

Express Employment is seeking a Quality Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality and compliance with industry standards through inspections, measurements, and quality control tests. This role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality production.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Verify all element dimensions using provided plans
  • Ensure corrections are made as needed and follow up on quality concerns
  • Accurately document quality control findings
  • Perform various QC tests and procedures
  • Work collaboratively as a team player
  • Maintain dependability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 1-2 years of relevant quality or construction experience preferred (training available)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing requirements
  • Flexibility to work outside normal business hours when necessary

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficient in using a tape measure
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, prints, and plans
