We are seeking a PRN PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT to join our team who is a dynamic clinician and team player.

Our facility offers a supportive family environment with a compassionate rehab team which is led by an experienced Director of Rehabilitation. Rehabilitation techs are utilized to assist therapists with resident transport and administrative functions. The rehab department utilizing Net Health-Therapy and Point Click Care for billing and documentation to assist therapists with daily efficiency where quality care remains the primary focus of each therapist. The facility offers 6-day a week, in-house comprehensive rehabilitation program where the PTA is an integral member of the interdisciplinary team. Our rehab positions are stable and secure at one location. Each rehab department offers a spacious gym.

JOB SUMMARY

• Conducts screenings of residents as scheduled for referral to Physical Therapist

• Contributes objective data to Physical Therapists as allowed by scope of practice

• Provide Physical Therapy treatment to residents when indicated per the plan of care

• Actively engage and contribute to the success of the rehab department, IDT and facility success

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of Associate of Science in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program

• A current Florida PTA License

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Must be computer/tech savvy
