Job Description

Well Established Behavioral Healthcare Facility is looking to add a Psych Nurse Practitioner to their highly dedicated team of professional providing care to the center patients

Practitioner works with clients ages 18+ in an outpatient setting.

Appointments are scheduled and walk-ins are accepted. Patients are being treated for psychiatric diagnoses such as mood disorders, psychotic disorders and substance use disorders.

Appointments are either evaluations (60 minutes) or follow-up medication management (20-30 minutes). Documentation is completed electronically concurrent in session.

This position offers an attractive work environment and tremendous collegial support form a great staff including psychiatrist, Psych Nurse Practitioners, Psychologist, Social Workers, Medical Assistants and administrative personnel

Schedule: Full time, M-F, one day per week will be 12-8pm

Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Prescription, Dental and Vision insurance, HSA, 403b, Generous Paid Time Off (20 leave days for 1st year, 25 for 2nd), Sick Time and EAP. Position is eligible for NHSC loan repayment of up to $50,000.

Qualifications: Licensed RN and Licensed APRN in the State of CT. Active DEA controlled substance registration and an active CT controlled substance license. Must be Board Certified as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, able to treat adult patients
