Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll help support the successful execution of restoration and reconstruction projects. The APM will work closely with Project Managers, field teams, subcontractors, clients, and vendors to help coordinate project schedules, budgets, documentation, and day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in construction, restoration, and disaster recovery services.
Responsibilities
  • Assist Project Managers in managing restoration projects from initial loss through project completion.
  • Coordinate mitigation and reconstruction activities, subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
  • Track project schedules, budgets, job costs, and change orders.
  • Maintain project documentation, including daily reports, work authorizations, contracts, photos, and project files.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, insurance adjusters, consultants, and internal teams regarding project status.
  • Assist with estimating, scope development, and insurance-related documentation.
  • Coordinate permits, inspections, and project closeout requirements.
  • Support emergency response efforts and catastrophe-related projects when needed.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.

Qualifications and Requirements
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in restoration, construction, mitigation, or project coordination preferred.
  • Knowledge of water, fire, mold, and storm restoration processes.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
  • Ability to read and interpret scopes of work, estimates, and project documentation.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with Xactimate, DASH, Encircle, or other restoration software is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to travel locally and respond to emergency situations as needed.
