IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical, is seeking an Electrical Project Manager - Data Center for work in Cedar Rapids, IA.ย 

Job Summary

  1. Provides overall management in all phases of construction for Data Center electrical projects.
  2. Manages projects in a manner that exceeds our customers' expectations and ensures that our work adheres to NEC, company safety policies and OSHA mandated requirements.
  3. Represents company in project meetings and strategy meetings.
  4. Manages financial aspects of contracts to protect company's interest and simultaneously maintains good relationship with clients.
  5. Manages the project team to ensure that project delivery meets the expectations of the client as well as IES.
  6. Performs takeoffs and price change orders and project related quotes.
  7. Works closely with the management to ensure accurate tracking and financial reporting.
  8. Work required to be performed at the project site.
  9. Travel is required.

Qualifications

  1. 3 or more years' electrical construction project management experience in all phases of electrical projects $20-$100M
  2. Data Center experience is required.
  3. Proficient computer, communications (oral and written), and interpersonal skills.
  4. Detailed understanding of electrical estimating, budgeting, scheduling and project tracking.
  5. Detailed understanding of billing and financial reporting.
  6. Business knowledge of vendors in respective electrical construction industry.
  7. Ability to travel as required.
  8. Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, drug test and MVR check.
