Overview
Herzog Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking Assistant Project Manager in Fort Worth, TX to join our team. HTI is developing industry-leading products, and at the forefront of Positive Train Control. The ideal candidate is a problem solver who is always learning; has demonstrated attention to detail and flexibility; can work well individually; works well with others; and is willing to become an expert in areas of PTC and railroading. The job includes mostly office work and may include occasional travel opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist project managers in planning, organizing, and executing projects to meet objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes and action items.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure effective communication and timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Track project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and recommend solutions to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Monitor project expenses against budget and provide regular reports on financial status to project managers.
  • Conduct research and provide support in preparing project-related materials, including presentations, proposals, and reports.
  • Regular and consistent engagement, participation and promotion of Herzog's Culture and its essential behaviors are a requirement for this position.
  • Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are a requirement for this position.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required.
  • Proven experience as an Assistant Project Manager or similar role, with 1-3 years of experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe software.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and financial tracking is beneficial.
