Apogee Architectural Metals is a segment of Apogee specializing in aluminum framing, windows, storefront, curtainwall, and entrance systems. We provide integrated capabilities, including design, engineering, extrusion, finishing, fabrication and assembly, across North America. Position Summary
The Project Manager for Client Services is responsible for managing assigned projects from pre-award through full life cycle, execution of scope commitments, post-award activities, providing timely client service communication both verbal and written to stakeholders and is to follow project specific sold margins and processes. Projects may have multiple Architectural Metals series products from different locations ranging from small to large in scale with low to high-risk commitments.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
  • Customer focused, prioritizing client needs and understanding their preferences, providing a personalized and memorable experience.
  • Actively listen, resolving client problems by taking ownership and following up through completion.
  • Understand client/project needs and explain requirements/ solutions needed.
  • Create meaningful interactions that solve problems, build trust and forge lasting client relationships.
  • Provide concise and actionable information to internal and external clients.
  • Proactive in reaching out to clients concerning issues i.e. backorders, schedule moves, upcoming approvals.

Order Planning / Processing
  • Review purchase orders to estimates, ensuring all information is executable and accurate.
  • Coordinate and track requests for information (RFI's) as required to maintain completeness and accuracy of project information.
  • Coordinate and track project scope alternates through change orders to ensure material and services provided are billable and collectable.
  • Coordinate completion of all Architectural Metals order processing milestones to ensure on time completion of orders.
  • Produce and understand schedule of values as required.

Load Planning / Logistics
  • Assist manufacturing and shipping as needed.
  • Provide verbal or written correspondence of all schedule revisions and back orders to client.
  • Develop material and delivery sequence if required to meet client expectations.

Compliance/Process/Procedures
  • Maintain order files per established guidelines and naming structures.
  • Follow Architectural Metals process and procedures to ensure compliance with established company policies.

Experience & Skills
Education:
  • Associate degree and/or 5+ years project management experience.
  • 5+ years' industry experience is preferred.

Experience:
  • Experience in managing projects in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Continuous Improvement (CI) Training is a plus.
  • Commercial Construction experience is a plus.
  • Resolving client concerns.

Required Skills:
