The Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology at Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University is recruiting a full-time Assistant Professor (clinical or clinician-educator track) to join our expanding hematology team within the Cardeza Foundation for Hematologic Research.
This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a multidisciplinary academic hematology program with strengths in both benign and malignant hematology, patient-centered care, and translational research.

Job Description

  • Provide expert outpatient and inpatient clinical care in benign and/or malignant hematology
  • Participate in the education and mentoring of medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Contribute to clinical, quality improvement, or translational research initiatives
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including hematopathologists, oncologists, and basic scientists
  • Engage in academic activities such as grand rounds, journal clubs, and tumor boards

Minimum Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree (or equivalent)
  • Board certified or board eligible in Hematology and Internal Medicine
  • Eligible for a medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
  • Demonstrated interest in academic medicine, education, or clinical research
  • Commitment to excellence in clinical care, teaching, and scholarly activity
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
