Manufacturing Engineer (Silent-Aire)
Who we are
Within our Johnson Controls Data Center Solutions group, Silent-Aire designs, engineers, and
manufactures hyperscale cooling and modular data center solutions, and it is built on the foundation
that you must be agile, fast, and work as a team to succeed. Our talented team is the power behind our
mission and their innovative solutions have earned us the trust of the leading hyperscale cloud providers
and data center owners and operations.
What you will do
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing manufacturing processes and
methods required for a premier HVAC manufacturing facility. Key duties include leading and/or
participating on projects that increase plant capacity, reduce cost, improve productivity, reduce job
hazards, and /or improve product quality.
How you will do it
• Process engineering change requests.
• Troubleshoot production problems.
• Assist in trouble-shooting assembly and fabrication equipment.
• Optimize work-station layout.
• Justify, specify, and install equipment.
• Introduce new products (BOM scrubbing, Manufacturing Trial Lots, Assist in Training, and work with
Design Engineering on production issues related to Design for Manufacturing).
• Create and maintain Bill of Materials and Routings (Assembly and Fabrication).
• Support and/or lead Lean projects.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other related manufacturing discipline
• 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering experience
• Lean manufacturing principles (material flow, material presentation, process flow, workstation
design
