Electronics Test Engineer (80-120K)

We have an excellent opportunity available for an Electronics Test Engineer to join an innovative electronics manufacturer in the Syracuse, NY area.

This position offers the opportunity to lead product testing, validation, and quality initiatives for advanced RF monitoring and electronic products while working closely with engineering and manufacturing throughout the entire product development lifecycle.

Duties Include: Product Testing & Validation
  • Lead functional, environmental, reliability, and qualification testing throughout the complete product lifecycle.
  • Develop and execute product validation plans for prototype, production, and customer qualification testing.
  • Analyze test data and recommend design improvements to enhance product performance and reliability.
  • Coordinate field evaluations and customer qualification testing.
Engineering & Product Development
  • Partner with engineering teams to evaluate prototypes, verify performance, and improve product designs.
  • Review product specifications and develop testing procedures and technical documentation.
  • Support product certifications and testing with customers and regulatory organizations.
  • Assist with document control and product specification development.
Manufacturing & Production Support
  • Troubleshoot analog RF and digital electronic circuits to the component level.
  • Support contract manufacturing partners with production testing and assembly issues.
  • Develop manufacturing test processes, fixtures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with production troubleshooting to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
  • Drive product quality initiatives by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Promote best practices in product validation, quality assurance, and manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to improve product performance and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience troubleshooting analog RF and digital electronic circuits to the component level.
  • Handsโ€‘on experience using electronic test equipment and RF measurement instrumentation.
  • Experience supporting products through the complete development and production lifecycle.
  • Understanding of quality systems, manufacturing processes, and product validation.
  • Experience within RF electronics, broadband, telecommunications, or similar electronic product environments is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems, networking, or software/programming concepts is a plus.
