Job description

Job Title: Event Linen Specialist.
Position Summary:
The Event Laundry/Linen Specialist is responsible for the cleaning, pressing, organization, and preparation of all linens used for events. This role ensures that tablecloths, napkins, chef's coats, aprons, and other fabric items are properly laundered, pressed, and packaged so they are event-ready and presented to the highest quality standard. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is self-motivated and comfortable working alone to complete a task in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Wash, dry, and press event linens including tablecloths and napkins.
  • Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear and remove items that do not meet quality standards.
  • Spot treat stains and perform pre-treatment when necessary.
  • Fold, package, and organize linens for upcoming events.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of clean and soiled linens.
  • Track linen quantities and notify management when replacement inventory is needed.
  • Prepare linen orders according to event schedules and packing lists.
  • Ensure linens are delivered or staged in proper quantities for each event.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry and linen storage areas.
  • Operate laundry and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with post-event linen collection, sorting, and return to inventory.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to operate laundry and iron/pressing equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality presentation.
