About this job...
Nosco is looking for a Lithographic Press Operator at our Bridgeview, IL facility. As an employee owner in this position, you will assist with setup and operation of multi-color press, complying with customer specifications while maintaining the high level of quality expectations. This position has the ability to grow into other opportunities in the pressroom or other departments.
In this role, you will...
  • Set up and operate press per SOPs, work instructions, and control riders.
  • Actively monitor production efficiency and quality while completing all documentation and reporting accurately.
  • Troubleshoot machine problems as it pertains to equipment and set up. Perform testing as required and understands what corrective actions could be necessary to achieve passing results.
  • Assist in minimizing the scope of remakes (identifying problems in a timely fashion through attributing and effectively communicating with downstream operators).
  • Perform clean-up/maintenance tasks in accordance with company SOP.
  • Perform and sustain a high rate of productivity. Meet expectations for set up time and run speeds as established by the department leads.

  • Preferably 3+ years of lithographic press experience or other technical skills operating machinery.
  • Experience with basic Quality systems and documentation.
  • Ability to understand and achieve performance expectations from supervision and communicate back to the crew those requirements.
