Position: Brake Press Operator (Amada)
Pay: $21–$24/hour DOE (up to
$27+/hour for highly skilled operators)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with overtime available.
Ideal candidates have at least
2 years of brake press setup and operation experience, can read blueprints, perform machine setups, maintain quality standards, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Position / Title: Brake Press Operator
Shift / Hours: - Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
- @ times they have OT that can be from 5:00-3:30 & if Saturday 5:00/6:00 - 11:00

Reports To: Brake Press Team Lead
Responsibilities: Set up and operations of Amada Brake Press that include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring safe working processes while abiding by Company's Safety Policies.
- Ensuring periodic machine maintenance is completed and documented as required.
- Interpreting pertinent data from Blueprints, Travelers, and other information and applying it to the required
job. - Managing and coordinating workload with a high level of throughput while maintaining a defect free output.
- Configuring and setting-up jobs as required.
- Identifying proper tooling required.
- Operating brakes and other equipment as required.
- Identifying and reporting documentation errors and other problems in a timely manner.
- Ensuring sampling processes and other quality checks are being completed and recorded.
- Ensuring the appropriate documentation is completed as required.
- Identifying defective equipment and/or tooling and reporting to the supervisor.
- Communicating and working effectively with management and other departments.
- Understanding proper bending and efficient manufacturing practices.
- Performing other tasks as directed by the immediate supervisor or management.
Requirements:- Ability to perform the Responsibilities listed above.
- Possesses a Positive Attitude with a "Lead by Example" work ethic.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience setting up and operating a brake.
- Ability to spend most of the day standing and/or moving about the work area/shop as required.
- Ability to safely handle parts up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform other tasks within reasonable exertion limits to assist other shop personnel in special
circumstances. - High school education is desired but not mandatory.
Physical Requirements:- Stand and walk throughout the workday.
- Frequently lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Work safely in a manufacturing environment around moving equipment and machinery.
