We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Associate to manage and maintain our food safety, quality, and compliance documentation systems.

Position Overview

The Document Control Associate is responsible for maintaining organized, accurate, and up-to-date documentation for food safety programs, operational procedures, and regulatory compliance. This role plays a key part in supporting internal quality systems and preparing documentation for third-party audits and inspections.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with technical documentation, and familiar with food safety audit environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize company documentation including SOPs, policies, work instructions, and compliance records
  • Ensure document version control and proper archiving of historical records
  • Assist in preparing documentation for third-party food safety audits
  • Support compliance programs related to SQF, NSF, BRC, and other food safety standards
  • Maintain logs, records, and documentation required for regulatory compliance
  • Work with operations, production, and management teams to update procedures when processes change
  • Ensure documentation is accurate, accessible, and properly controlled across departments
  • Assist with internal audits and corrective action documentation
  • Help maintain training documentation and employee records related to compliance programs

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience with document control, compliance documentation, or quality systems preferred
  • Familiarity with food safety audits (SQF, NSF, BRC, or similar programs) strongly preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple documentation systems and maintain accurate records
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and document management systems
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating with multiple departments
  • Experience in food manufacturing, processing, or regulated production environments is a plus

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay based on experience
  • Stable, long-term position in a growing company
  • Hands-on role supporting food safety and quality programs
  • Opportunity to contribute directly to operational compliance and audit readiness
