Location: Norcross, GA - 30071
Duration: 6 Months - Possible to convert to FTE based on performance and business need
Work Type: Onsite
Shift: Monday to Friday from 06:00 AM to 02:30 PM
How will you make an impact?
- As a Warehouse Worker, you will follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) to complete all internal and external customer requests.
- This position will be in one of the functional areas of the warehouse including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
What will you do?
- Processes orders according to priority set by the Supervisor/Group Lead to meet customer requirements.
- Receive, pick, package, and label shipments according to the Distribution SOP and work instructions
- Maneuvers picking carts or powered industrial trucks to various locations throughout the Distribution Center to locate materials and fulfill orders
- Completes paper documentation requirements for packing and shipping of hazardous chemicals.
- Practices good housekeeping and keeps inventory neat, clean, and orderly.
- Completes paper documentation requirements as outlined by Distribution SOP’s
- Verifies proper storage conditions of products and notifies Supervisor of any inventory issues that may arise such as Can’t find, Expired Product, Breakage, and Out-Of-Stocks.
- Assist other team members, as needed, to ensure customer satisfaction including maintaining sufficient employee relations and teamwork.
How will you get here?
- A High School Diploma or GED is required
- Packing and receiving experience is required.
- Preferred experience in computers and scanning equipment.
- Experiecne with SAP
- Basic Math
- Comfortable with standing and going in and out of refrigerator area.
