About Us

We are a well-established, patient-centered optometry practice in South Tulsa committed to delivering exceptional eye care. Our team is dedicated to creating an outstanding experience for every patient, and we are looking for a dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented individual to join us.

Position Summary

We are seeking an Optometric Technician who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position plays an important role in the patient experience by assisting with clinical testing, supporting our doctors, and helping patients in our optical department.

This role would offer a schedule of: M-F - 7:30am - 4:30pm with an hour lunch

The ideal candidate is flexible and willing to float between departments as needed, including technician duties, optical dispensing, contact lens support, and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and prepare patients for their eye examinations
  • Perform preliminary testing using diagnostic equipment
  • Collect and document patient history and chief complaints
  • Assist doctors during patient care, including scribing when needed
  • Educate patients on recommended treatments and products
  • Assist with contact lens training, education, ordering, and follow-up
  • Support inventory management for contact lens products
  • Process medication refill requests

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an optometry or ophthalmology office is REQUIRED
  • Strong communication, customer service, and multitasking skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to jump in wherever help is needed
  • Passion for providing exceptional patient care

Compensation:
Pay is based on experience.
