Are you the person others turn to when complex networking challenges need solving? Do you have a knack for translating complex technical concepts into meaningful business outcomes?

We are looking for an energetic and client-oriented Intermediate Network Consultant for our Calgary branch! In this role, you will build trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, while providing consultancy services for the design and implementation of industry leading network solutions. 

A Day in the Life:
  • Participate in network design activities for campus, data center, WAN/SDWAN, wireless, and cloud environments, contributing to solution development under guidance from senior architects

  • Collaborate with client stakeholders and technical teams to understand business requirements and help align technical solutions accordingly

  • Support network implementation efforts, following established best practices and assisting with handson configuration and deployment tasks

  • Contribute to security-focused initiatives, assisting with the design and deployment of nextgeneration firewalls, network access control (NAC), segmentation, and zerotrust-aligned solutions

  • Assist with escalated support issues, helping troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems alongside senior team members

  • Support presales activities, including solution scoping, levelofeffort estimates, and assisting in proposal preparation with account teams

  • Provide guidance to junior team members and share knowledge within project teams and internal forums

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including low-level designs (LLDs), as-built documents, runbooks, and operational transition materials

What You Bring:
  • 5+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise networking solutions

  • Proven expertise in routing and switching (MPLS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VRF, spanning tree, VLANs)

  • Deep knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and secure gateways

  • Strong background in wireless networking

  • Experience with NAC platforms

  • Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies

  • Exposure to cloud networking and hybrid connectivity

  • Skilled at producing architecture diagrams, HLDs/LLDs, and design documentation

  • Strong communication and client-facing skills - comfortable engaging with executives as well as technical teams

What Makes You Extra Awesome:
  • Vendor certifications: CCNA, CCNP, and/or similar

  • Familiarity with zero-trust frameworks and enterprise security standards

  • Consulting or pre-sales experience in a professional services environment

$60,835 - $79,847 a year
Expected base salary range. Plus additional variable incentives.
