Job description

E-logic is seeking a Mid-Level Information System Security Specialist to oversee and implement strict cyber security frameworks on covered defense information networks for the In-Service Aircraft Carrier Program Office (PMS 312) and the Aircraft Carrier Inactivation and Disposal Program Office (PMS 368) from U.S. Department of the Navy, operating under NAVSEA (Naval Sea Systems Command). You will eliminate logistical friction, resolve systemic line-item errors, and optimize multi-million-dollar fleet availabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining and reviewing System Security Plans (SSP) and Plans of Action and Milestones (POAM).
  • Enforce security controls including multi-factor authentication, least privilege access, and remote access session monitoring.
  • Ensure proper handling of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and Unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (U-NNPI).
Qualifications
  • CompTIA A+ and Security+ certifications are mandatory.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional IT security experience.
  • 7+ years of specialized cybersecurity experience preferred.
