Job description

E-logic is looking for a hands-on Lead Engineer / Technical Lead to serve as the chief architect and implementation expert for Wesley Community. This role demands deep engineering expertise to safely decommission legacy server architectures and transition approximately 75 workstations to a highly secure, modern cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cloud & Identity Infrastructure: Decommission existing legacy servers and orchestrate the migration to Azure Active Directory (AAD) and Microsoft 365 Business Premium. Configure Endpoint Manager (Intune) for policy enforcement and automated patching.
  • Network Engineering: Design and replace aging infrastructure with managed PoE++ gigabit switches and WPA3-compatible wireless access points. Implement robust VLAN segmentation for server, staff, and guest networks.
  • Security & Implementation: Deploy advanced endpoint protection, Ironscales phishing defense, Bitwarden Enterprise password managers, and enforce multi-factor authentication (MFA) across all endpoints.

Technical Requirements

  • Deep Cloud Expertise: Advanced engineering knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Azure AD migrations, SSO, Conditional Access, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
  • Networking Mastery: Strong hands-on experience configuring FortiGate firewalls, VLANs, routing, and Switching infrastructure across redundant WAN environments.
  • Cybersecurity Alignment: Strong operational understanding of NIST, CISA, and CIS Controls frameworks to ensure strict baseline compliance.
  • Certifications: CCNA/CCNP, NSE 4/5, or Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert are massive pluses.

Important Notice:

This role is part of a proposal for Wesley Community. Hiring is contingent upon the selection of the consultant. Selected candidates will be included in the proposal and must authorize the use of their resume for submission.
