Threat Engineer CIAM (Digital Identity Services)
Phoenix, AZ (PHX) - Onsite role
As a senior member of the Digital Identity Services team, you will have responsibility for providing Citizens customers with a best-in-class Customer Security Experience.
This Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) role will require focus on designing, engineering, and delivering security and identity products and services that empower and support consumer and commercial customers.
You will establish and drive standard design and deployment patterns for threat detection and prevention, partnering with Fraud, Risk, and Cybersecurity teams.
You will also participate in escalation of customer and application issues with teams integrating identity and security products and services.
Responsibilities:
  • Assess existing customer application-based threat capabilities, identify gaps, and deliver solutions to mitigate risk
  • Assist in evaluating and implementing tools to provide standards and best practices for Digital Identity Services capabilities
  • Work with partners to identify threat monitoring and reporting requirements and identify opportunities for enhancement
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources to improve threat indicator response
  • Drive threat policy configuration to support adaptive risk analysis, orchestration, and multi-factor authentication
  • Assess emerging Digital Identity technologies to determine capability gaps or overlaps
  • Provide Level 4 support for day-to-day operations of the Citizens Digital Identity Services Platform Operations team
  • Deliver security and identity services that enable the business while maintaining strong risk posture
Required / Preferred Skills:
  • 6+ years participating actively in Cybersecurity or Fraud investigations
  • 2+ years of support experience in large organizations working with senior leaders
  • Experience supporting Customer IAM security with strong understanding of industry best practices
  • Exposure to orchestration and decision technologies (Transmit Security, Singular Key, etc.)
  • Experience operating and administering modern threat/risk engines (SecuredTouch, ThreatMetrix, BioCatch, etc.)
  • Strong service and delivery capability with focus on customer experience
  • Experience handling complex risk issues in technology environments with mitigation strategies
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements (GLBA, SOX, PCI)
  • Understanding of ITIL and IT service management frameworks
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple complex activities with rapid delivery expectations
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology environment (preferred)
  • Knowledge of ISO, NIST, or FFIEC guidance preferred
