Make an Impact Where it Matters Most as a Hospitalist Physician Assistant at Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, California 

Deliver patient-centered care that makes a difference. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a skilled team, contribute to clinical excellence, and enjoy opportunities for professional growth – all while serving the Fresno community.

We are hiring a full-time or part-time Hospitalist Physician Assistant for day rounding shifts. 

Local Team Collaboration:

  • Join a team of 50 physicians and 10 Advanced Practice Providers at Community Regional Medical Center.
  • Work alongside a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds from all over the world. Become an integral member of the hospitalist team and community.
  • Community Medical Centers is affiliated with UCSF Fresno, which offers training to residents and fellows.
  • Community Regional Medical Center is a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified/eligible physician assistants.
  • Active California license preferred.
  • Experience working as an advanced practice provider in an acute care hospital setting is required.
  • Ability to work well in a team-based environment, focusing on collaboration and patient-centered care.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

  • We are looking for a physician assistant interested in rounding in a day shift role.
  • 7 on/7 off schedule.
  • Shifts are 12 hours in length; 7 am – 7 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide inpatient care in a closed ICU environment. Work alongside other day and swing shift advanced practice providers.
  • Our patient population is diverse, so we are looking for a nurse practitioner who relishes the challenge of addressing a broad spectrum of patient needs.
  • Utilize Epic EMR system.

Rewards and Compensation:

  • Annual compensation: $165,000 + bonuses, based on the number of shifts worked.
  • Moonlighting premium for additional shifts
