Medical Clinic Assistant (Medical Assistant) – Job Summary
The Medical Clinic Assistant supports physicians and clinical staff to ensure efficient office operations. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, obtaining patient medical histories, preparing patients for examinations and procedures, assisting with specimen collection and preparation, obtaining informed consent, preparing surgical packets, administering injections under physician supervision, and communicating test results and care plans as directed.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of Medical Assistant experience (required).
  • Current Medical Assistant Certification (required, documentation needed).
  • Active AHA BLS Certification (required, documentation needed).
  • Must have a personal vehicle for the assignment.
  • Previous travel experience is highly preferred.

  • Current Medical Assistant skills checklist (within 1 year).
  • Two supervisory references completed within the last two years.
