Compensation and Schedule for the Medical Assistant
Medical Assistant - Full-time, onsite, $23 per hour, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Join a relaxed environment with opportunities for growth!
Required Qualifications of the Medical Assistant
- 1+ years of recent medical assistant experience required
- 3 + years of recent medical assistant experience preferred
- Medical Assistant diploma or certification required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen
Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant
- Room patients
- Obtain vitals and review patient history
- Prepare and clean room for patient
- Prepare patient for the physician
- Perform a variety of office-based testing and treatments related to patient care under the supervision of clinician care
- Coordinate and manage patient care including pre-certifications, referrals, authorizations, prescriptions, and scheduling for clinic, hospital, and other ancillary medical treatments and tests
