ROW Shop Mechanic – $25–$40/Hour + $3,000 Sign-On Bonus

Riggs Tree Service is seeking a dependable, experienced ROW Shop Mechanic to join our team. This position is responsible for keeping our Right-of-Way equipment, trucks, and machinery maintained, repaired, and ready for the field.

Pay: $25–$40 Per Hour

Starting wage ranges from $25 to $40 per hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently, and understands the importance of keeping equipment safe and operational.

$3,000 SIGN-ON BONUS

Qualified applicants who bring their own tools are eligible for a $3,000 sign-on bonus, paid in increments over the first six months of employment.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain company trucks, equipment, and machinery

  • Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled services

  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel-related issues

  • Repair and maintain equipment used by Right-of-Way crews

  • Inspect equipment and identify potential problems before they cause downtime

  • Maintain accurate service and repair records

  • Keep the shop and work areas clean, organized, and safe

  • Communicate equipment needs and repair status with supervisors and field crews

  • Assist with emergency and priority repairs as needed

  • Follow company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications
