What is an assistant mechanic?

Assistant mechanics are entry-level professionals who support lead or senior mechanics in maintaining, repairing, and servicing vehicles or machinery. Their duties often include tasks such as changing oil, rotating tires, performing basic diagnostic tests, and keeping the work area clean and organized.
