This position is based onsite at our outpatient office in Montgomery, NY, where you will engage closely with patients in individual therapy sessions. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions to establish effective treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
  • Implement various hands-on therapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
  • Adjust and adapt therapy programs based on patient progress and feedback to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
  • Instruct patients and their caregivers on home exercise regimens and self-management techniques to facilitate ongoing recovery outside of therapy sessions.
  • Maintain meticulous and accurate patient documentation to track progress and enhance treatment continuity.
  • Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including nurses, physicians, and occupational therapists, to ensure holistic management of each patientโ€™s care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Release Manual Therapy, you will work primarily with adult patients recovering from orthopedic and neurological conditions, as well as those recovering from postoperative procedures. This role allows you to make a significant impact in their rehabilitation journey, supporting them as they work towards regaining strength and mobility.

Qualifications
  • A valid New York State Physical Therapist License.
  • A Bachelorโ€™s degree in Physical Therapy; preference will be given to candidates with a Masterโ€™s or Doctorate in the field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
Preferred Experience
  • Two or more years of clinical experience in pediatric or adult physical therapy, ideally within a skilled nursing or outpatient rehabilitation setting.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
