Indiana University Health Medical Group is hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Neurosurgery department at Methodist Hospital! Join a highly skilled team providing care for patients with Cerebrovascular and Endovascular diseases.

Position Details:

  • Full-time 1.0 Clinical FTE
  • Monday through Friday 8am - 4:30pm 
  • 90% Outpatient and 10% Inpatient
  • Team includes 15 Physicians and 30 Advanced Practice Providers

This innovative department provides challenging and rewarding work. Physicians are dedicated to providing value and autonomy to their Advanced Practice Providers and promote a supportive environment for learning. Cohesiveness, communication, and critical thinking skills are a necessity. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • See neurosurgery consults
  • Patient care coordination
  • Ordering diagnostic imaging and labs
  • Perform complete neurological exams
  • Interpret data and imaging results
  • Assist in developing the plan of care for patients

Qualifications:

  • ACNP, AGNP, FNP or PA certification required
  • Neurosurgical, Neurology, Vascular and/or Critical Care experience strongly preferred
