Job description

Dish Washer/ Prep-Lion's Den Cafe

Full-Time Hourly: $24.00 an Hour (DOE)

Benefits: Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance available after 60 days, 403b after 30 days

We are seeking a Full-Time Dishwasher/ Prep- Lion's Den Cafe located at our Welcome Center, to join our dedicated kitchen staff! You will assist in the preparation, sanitation, deep cleaning, and pizza station coverage in our professional kitchen. Occasional catering/food prep for on-site events will be required. Excellent Pay! Come join our team and work for a cause!


Responsibilities:

  • Prep all served food
  • Plan mitigation of low food inventory
  • Memorize, record, and comprehend menu items and portions
  • Follow standard food safety protocols
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances
  • Provide coverage and support to our pizza prep station
  • Coordinate with cooks and support kitchen and FOH staff as needed
  • Follow all appropriate check lists and adhere to company guidelines
  • Knife skills and safe lifting practices


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in restaurants, food service, or other related fields: Preferred but no required.
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cleaning techniques
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well in teams


Required/Other:

  • Valid Drivers License
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Able to lift 50lbs or more
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to work as a team
  • Perform other duties as requested
