Job description

THE ROLE

Decoration Operator, UV Printing & Laser Engraving

Quince is hiring a Decoration Operator to support our in-house UV printing and laser engraving operations for hard-shell luggage, travel accessories and hard goods.

You will operate and maintain production equipment, ensure consistent quality and help deliver high volume output across multiple decoration capabilities while reporting directly to the Decoration Lead.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and operate Heat Press, UV printing and laser engraving machines for apparel, caps, luggage and hard goods
  • Prepare and align artwork files; review designs using Adobe Illustrator or similar tools
  • Execute daily production runs while maintaining accuracy, quality and output targets
  • Perform routine cleaning, maintenance and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime
  • Monitor print quality, identify defects early and escalate issues to the Decoration Lead
  • Verify logo alignment and placement based on approved templates and guidelines
  • Support finishing tasks such as inspection, cleaning, packaging or labeling
  • Maintain accurate job tracking in production software and communicate status updates

Qualifications

Required:

  • Willingness to learn Heat Press, UV printing, laser engraving and other decoration techniques
  • Experience in printing, engraving, personalization or production environments preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow step-by-step processes
  • Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator or digital file prep preferred
  • Basic understanding of color accuracy and print alignment (training provided)
  • Reliable, organized and able to work flexible hours or overtime when needed
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Remove if not applicable

  • Lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Standing and walking throughout the entirety of your shift
  • Bending, twisting, or kneeling may be required to operate machinery or maneuvering objects

Pay Range: $24/hr-$26/hr
