Job description

Position Overview
Greenlife Gardens is seeking a Landscape Assistant Install Foreman to support the Install Foreman in leading installation crews and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to Greenlife Gardens' quality standards. This role is hands-on and leadership-driven, assisting with jobsite execution, crew direction, and daily production while developing the skills needed to grow into a full Foreman role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Install Foreman in leading and managing landscape installation crews on residential and commercial projects
  • Execute landscape installations including hardscape, softscape, grading, drainage, and related scope
  • Review project plans, specifications, and daily work objectives with the Install Foreman
  • Help ensure jobs are completed on time, within budgeted hours, and to quality standards
  • Track labor hours and materials usage and report daily production to the Install Foreman
  • Communicate job progress, issues, and change needs to the Install Foreman
  • Assist with training, coaching, and developing crew members
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite
  • Operate equipment and tools as needed
  • Ensure company vehicles, tools, and equipment are properly used and maintained
  • Coordinate with other departments as required to support project success
  • Provide leadership and direction to the crew when the Install Foreman is unavailable

Qualifications
  • 2 or more years of landscape installation experience
  • Strong knowledge of landscape installation processes and best practices
  • Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and details
  • Proven ability to work with and lead a crew
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor

  • Experience with hardscape installation
  • Previous crew lead or assistant foreman experience
