Position Details

The Athletic Department at The University of Tampa has an opening for a Part-time Men's Assistant Lacrosse Coach. This position will assist the head coach with organization, development and implementation of a nationally competitive Lacrosse program.

Responsibilities:

1. Practice preparation and coaching

2. Coordinating team and recruiting travel and logistics

3. Assist with operating budget expenditures

4. Assist with academic development of student athletes

5. Assist with scheduling practices and contests

6. Assist equipment manager with ordering, issuing and collecting athletic equipment

7. Arrange special/ alumni events

8. Assist with fundraising activities

9. Other duties as assigned by the head coach

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree preferred 2. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulation 3. Knowledge of all aspects of coaching

4. Ability to work nights and weekends

5. Knowledge of or the ability to learn quickly The University of Tampa software programs such as Workday and Microsoft Office

6. Willingness to embrace new technologies and innovative organizational practices

Pay Rate:

$14.00 per hour not to exceed $14,000.00 in a 10-month period.

Work Schedule

Part-time schedule not to exceed 29 hours per week/1000 hours per year.

Evenings and weekends required.
