Job description

Purpose and Impact:

This position with Amentum is to support the United States Central Command J2 Directorate through the planning of Intelligence. Your plans and assessment will be vital to the decision making of senior leaders to include the CENTCOM Commander. You will witness the impact of your analysis indirectly on the battlefield and through strategic decisions made by our leaders throughout the Intelligence Community.

Work Schedule: 0800-1600

Essential Responsibilities:

The employee shall assist Intelligence Plans Division leadership and staff with the planning, organization, development, coordination, and execution of intelligence planning activities in order to drive objectives and evaluations of Intelligence Campaign Plans (ICP) efforts, Interagency (IA) information sharing efforts, and Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) and Combatant Command (CCMD) exercises in support of division leadership and intelligence requirements. The contractor shall plan and coordinate ICP production and implementation for the J2 Directorate, other directorates, components, Intelligence Community (IC), and coalition and partner nation representatives. The contractor shall identify strategic and operational requirements for CCMD military operations, including collection capabilities, structure, manpower, communication, and logistics to meet operations requirements and identify shortfalls/gaps and develop courses of action and mitigation strategies. The contractor shall assess existing/future capabilities to meet operations requirements for CCMD military operations. Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • Masters degree with 10 years intelligence and/or service planning experience at echelons of command above Battalion/Squadron or credentialed SME or recognized specialist in relevant field OR
  • Bachelor degree with 12 years intelligence and/or service planning experience at echelons of command above Battalion/Squadron or credentialed SME or recognized specialist in relevant field;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility and organization; Joint/Service Intermediate Level School [JPME-I, CGSC, SAMS / SAAS / SAWS / MAWS / JAWS], and JIP Level I / Tier I certification preferred or proof of working understanding of multiple intelligence disciplines and an awareness of CSA capabilities.

Security Clearance Required:

  • TS/SCI w/Poly

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelors/Masters

Minimum Years of Experience:

  • 12/10
