Construction Inspector – Roofing & Building Envelope

We are seeking an experienced Construction Inspector with a strong background in roofing systems and building envelope inspections to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience across condominiums, townhomes, residential, and mixed-use developments, and will be prepared to step in immediately to support active projects. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform roofing system inspections, including low-slope and steep-slope assemblies, across condo, townhome, residential, and mixed-use properties.

  • Inspect siding, façade, and building envelope systems to identify defects, performance issues, and code compliance concerns.

  • Conduct forensic investigations related to roofing failures, water intrusion, and building envelope deficiencies.

  • Prepare detailed inspection reports, repair recommendations, and technical specifications.

  • Support due diligence efforts, research, application submissions, and related documentation.

  • Coordinate and communicate with owners, property managers, architects, engineers, and contractors throughout inspection and construction phases.

  • Review, negotiate, and manage change orders, budget revisions, and scope modifications.

  • Assist with risk assessments, project scheduling, field issue resolution, and project close-out activities.

  • Lead or participate in project coordination and progress meetings as needed.

Required Skills & Abilities:
  • Demonstrated experience with roofing systems, building envelope components, and exterior construction.

  • Strong project management, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
