Job description

Position Description

We are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor / Room Inspector who is committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This role is responsible for inspecting guest rooms and public areas for quality and brand standards, supporting and coaching the housekeeping team, and assisting the Executive Housekeeper with the day-to-day operation of the department. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and leads by example.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and compliance with hotel and brand standards
  • Provide coaching, training, and feedback to housekeeping team members to maintain quality and consistency
  • Assist with assigning daily work and monitoring productivity to ensure rooms are completed on schedule
  • Identify and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, damages, and lost-and-found items
  • Assist with cleaning guest rooms and public areas as needed to support operational demands
  • Ensure housekeeping carts, storage rooms, and linen areas remain clean, organized, and properly stocked
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns
  • Promote a positive team environment while helping maintain departmental goals for cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and efficiency
Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and products
  • Minimum of one year of hotel housekeeping experience required; supervisory experience preferred
