Job description

Inspector
As an Inspector you will be performing a variety of inspections, checks, tests, and sampling activities to verify products, systems, and processes meet engineering, manufacturing, customer, contractual, regulatory, and organizational quality requirements. Applies established inspection practices to support product acceptance, rejection, rework, and quality documentation requirements.
Location: Shelby, NC
Salary: $20 to $25/Hr

  • Perform inspections, checks, testing, and sampling of incoming materials, in-process products, packaging operations, and finished goods. (30%)
  • Evaluate inspection results against drawings, specifications, procedures, and quality standards to support acceptance, rejection, or rework. (25%)
  • Prepare and maintain product verification documentation, inspection records, and quality control reports. (20%)
  • Monitor critical equipment, instrumentation, and inspection processes; escalate unusual or concerning results. (15%)
  • Assist with procedure drafting, test method troubleshooting, labeling activities, and dimensional inspections as assigned. (10%)

What You Bring:
  • High school diploma, technical certificate, or equivalent experience.
  • Typically 2 - 4 years of inspection, manufacturing, production, laboratory, or quality control experience.
  • Working knowledge of inspection procedures, sampling methods, and quality documentation.
  • Ability to read drawings, specifications, work instructions, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience using basic inspection tools and measurement equipment.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and attention to detail.
