A little about the job....

  • Perform a variety of patient care activities to assist physicians providing direct patient care and maintaining proper standards of quality.

Qualifications for the job... 

  • High school education required. 
  • Must have minimum one year experience in healthcare setting, preferably in a clinic setting. 
  • Specialized technical training of one to two years preferred. 
  • CPR certification required.
  • Must have knowledge of examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures; knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care; knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment. 
  • Must possess skill in taking vital signs, maintaining records and recording test results. 
  • Must be able to establish and maintain working relationships with patients, medical staff and public. 
  • Must be able to read, understand and respond to detailed oral and written instruction; communicate clearly and maintain quality control standards.
