Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Location: Florida Schedule: Part-time (2 days per week) Salary per annum: $60,000 - $90,000

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team. As an Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with infectious diseases. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting physical examinations
  • Interpreting lab tests
  • Informing patients about their health conditions
  • Proposing treatment plans for chronic and acute infectious disease conditions
  • Prescribing antibiotics and proposing treatment plans
  • Collaborating with a team of medical professionals
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility
  • Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license
  • DEA License
  • CPR BCLS/BLS certified
  • Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing
  • Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • A year of experience in Infectious Disease
  • Preferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided
  • Must have great organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day
