Job description

This is an opportunity to join a growing and well-respected practice! Las Vegas Urology is looking for Physician Assistants and/or Nurse Practitioners to work on a team with our physicians and assist in the hospitals. Urology is an exciting specialty, covering wide range of conditions and patients.

Summary of Duties: Responsibilities include acute hospital rounds and assisting in surgery. Rotations will be during the day, up to 3 hospitals.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday
8:00am-5:00pm
PAID Weekends available but not required
No nights

Minimum Requirements:

  • Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) / Nurse Practitioner-Certified (NP-C) / APRN
  • 3 5 years' experience in the medical/healthcare industry.

Skills/Experience:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of medical office operations.
  • Monitoring skills to assess performance of self and subordinates and operations.
  • Critical thinking.
  • Ability to interface with people using tact and diplomacy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Outstanding professional demeanor
  • Must be well organized and detail oriented.
